If the resurrection didn’t happen…
- Then the death of Jesus on the cross was one meaningless act of love instead of the most incredible meaningful act of life.
- Then life becomes about making me happy in the short time that I am alive instead of serving and pleasing God.
- Then there is no power to overcome sin in my life so I might as well give in to my desires instead of allowing the Holy Spirit to lead and direct me.
- Then Jesus was a good man that died, instead of good God that lives.
- Then I might as well sleep in on Easter Sunday instead of celebrating the risen God.
Question.
Why do we often live our lives as if the resurrection didn’t happen?
